By supporting the arts, a person becomes part of a process focused first and foremost on creation rather than destruction… In deciding whom or what to support, one can begin to envision the future with particular clarity and make an important choice… And this, in turn, creates an opportunity to become part of art history.
The development of art has always included patronage, a tradition with a history spanning 300–400 years. This means that, in one way or another, many of the masterpieces now housed in modern museums were once acquired by private collectors.
Inspired by this philanthropic idea, the Vega Star Group Foundation decided to support the creation of a private art collection as part of the Vega Star Gallery project.
